The Sebra baby bumper fits The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr., but it also fits a standard 60x120 cm cot. If the baby bumper is too long for the bed, it can overlap with one end on top of the other, allowing the baby bumper to be adapted to a smaller bed.
How to Wash Your Zebra Product with Kapok
Kapok fibers are natural fibers that come from the Kapok tree. The fibers are lightweight, hypoallergenic, and naturally resistant to mold - that is why kapok is used in many of our products!
Our covers and outer fabrics are made from 100% certified organic cotton and free of toxic chemicals. Therefore, we do NOT recommend washing our kapok products before use.
When you wash a kapok product, it will always change a little. Therefore, we advise that you only wash your kapok product if it's absolutely necessary.
If you want to freshen it up a bit, we recommend hanging it outside in the fresh air. If there's a stain on the product, you can gently spot-clean it to avoid getting the whole product wet.
If washing your kapok product is unavoidable, following the washing and drying instructions is crucial.
Washing
Always wash the product separately and only at 40 degrees to protect the kapok fibers.
Choose a short wash cycle and avoid extra washing or soaking, which can damage the kapok fibers.
Choose a wash cycle with extra spin or run an extra spin (preferably 1,200 revolutions) after washing to get as much water out as possible before drying.
Use a gentle detergent without bleach or enzymes. Do not use fabric softener.
Drying
Immediate drying after washing is crucial to maintaining the quality of your Zebra Kapok product. Kapok fibers tend to clump when wet but regain their fluffiness when dried, according to the instructions. Be aware that drying kapok fibers takes time, so expect it to take up to 4 hours in the dryer.
Dry the product by itself in the tumble dryer.
Select a medium heat cycle and dry for approximately 30 minutes at a time, then check the product to see how far along the drying process is. If the fibers are clumping together, continue drying the product in the dryer. Give the product a good shake to help distribute the fibers evenly.
Once your Zebra product is slightly damp, remove it from the dryer and let the remaining moisture evaporate by placing it vertically in a warm spot, such as a room with floor heating on a drying rack.
Using wool dryer balls in the dryer can be beneficial, as they help separate the kapok fibers and prevent clumping. Do not use tennis balls!
